Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, learning platform, courses, certificates, and related services provided by HealthCareCourses (An LSIB brand) (“HCC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Your account
To access many features, you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, violate these Terms, or pose a security or legal risk.
3. Course access and licence
When you enrol in a course, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access course materials for your own learning purposes. Unless expressly permitted in writing, you may not:
- copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share course content;
- record, scrape, or systematically download platform materials;
- use the Services to provide competing training without our consent; or
- share account access with others.
Course availability, structure, and content may be updated from time to time to improve quality, accuracy, or compliance.
4. Payments, pricing, and refunds
Fees for courses, subscriptions, certificates, or other products are displayed at checkout. By completing a purchase, you authorise us and our payment processors to charge the applicable amount using your selected payment method.
Prices may change for future purchases. Any refund eligibility depends on the product purchased and the refund policy stated at the point of sale or in your order confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, digital course access is generally non-refundable once substantial access has been granted, except where required by applicable consumer law.
5. Certificates and credentials
Certificates or credentials may be issued when stated completion criteria are met. Certificates confirm completion of our programme requirements only and do not constitute regulated professional accreditation unless explicitly stated. You may not alter, misrepresent, or falsely claim affiliation with HCC.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services. Prohibited conduct includes:
- violating applicable laws or third-party rights;
- uploading malware or attempting to disrupt platform security;
- harassing, impersonating, or abusing other users or staff;
- using automated tools to access the platform without permission;
- attempting to bypass payment, access controls, or assessment rules; and
- using the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
7. Intellectual property
All platform content, branding, software, course materials, assessments, designs, and documentation are owned by or licensed to HCC and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence in Section 3, no rights are granted to you by implication or otherwise.
8. Third-party services
The Services may integrate third-party tools such as payment gateways, login providers, video hosts, analytics, or verification services. Your use of those services may be subject to separate third-party terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services we do not control.
9. Disclaimers
The Services and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Educational content is provided for general learning purposes and does not constitute legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Outcomes such as employment, promotion, or qualification recognition are not guaranteed.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HCC and its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the relevant product or service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services immediately if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users, or where required by law. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to HealthCareCourses (An LSIB brand)’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts with appropriate jurisdiction will resolve disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
