I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in environmental psychology and its applications in architecture.
I took the Environmental Psychology in Architecture course to gain a deeper understanding of how to design buildings that promote occupant well-being. The course content was informative and easy to follow, with a good balance of theoretical foundations and practical case studies. I found the discussions on wayfinding and spatial cognition particularly interesting, as they helped me appreciate the importance of intuitive navigation in buildings. While some of the course materials could be improved, overall I was satisfied with the experience and feel more confident in my ability to apply environmental psychology principles in my future projects.
Wow, what an amazing course! I was blown away by the breadth and depth of the material covered in Environmental Psychology in Architecture. The instructor's passion for the subject was infectious, and I loved the interactive elements, such as the group discussions and design challenges. One of the most valuable takeaways for me was the understanding of how different building layouts can influence social interactions and community formation. The course materials were top-notch, with plenty of visuals and examples to illustrate key concepts. I enrolled in the Environmental Psychology in Architecture course to learn more about the psychological aspects of building design. The course was well-structured, with clear learning objectives and a logical flow of topics. I appreciated the focus on evidence-based design and the use of research studies to support key concepts. The instructor provided plenty of opportunities for questions and feedback, which helped clarify any doubts I had. One area for improvement could be the addition of more Latin American case studies, as the current examples were mostly from North America and Europe. Nonetheless, I'm happy with what I learned and feel more equipped to consider the psychological needs of building occupants in my future projects.
